工作內容

國立政治大學外國語文學院東南亞語言與文化學士學位學程擬徵聘一名翻譯及口譯領域助理教授/副教授級專任約聘教學人員,自10821日起聘。遴選錄取者需負責學士班專業課程教學、設計數位教材、學術研究、協助課程發展及行政庶務。

 

資格條件

  • 擁有翻譯研究或相關領域博士學位,以越--英或英--越翻譯及口譯或與法律相關專長者為佳。
  • 應徵時須已取得學位,或至遲於起聘日10821日前取得博士學位。
  • 具備以英語教學之能力者為佳。
  • 具備翻譯與口譯教學與研究能力,特別是法律翻譯、翻譯理論及方法、同步口譯等領域。
  • 具備學士班及碩士班教學專業及經驗,並有指導碩士生的能力。
  • 曾發表足以勝任本職缺的相關研究著作。
  • 能夠積極投入教學、學術活動、專業服務並有傑出之成果。
  • 能夠投入單位行政服務.

Full-Time Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of Translation and Interpreting Studies

Specification of the position

The College of Foreign Languages at National Chengchi University invites applications for a full-time contract-based Assistant Professor/Associate Professor position with a specialization in Translation & Interpreting Studies beginning 1 February, 2019 for The BA Program in Southeast Asian Languages and Cultures.

 

The successful appointee will engage in teaching courses at undergraduate or professional level, designing e-learning materials, performing research, and assisting in curriculum development and administrative assignments.

 

Required Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. degree in Translation Studies or related disciplines, preferably with the specialism in Vietnamese-Chinese-English or English-Chinese-Vietnamese Translation & Interpreting, or in relation to law.
  • Degree at time of application or official notification of completion of the doctoral degree required by 1 February, 2019.
  • Applicants with ability to teach in English preferred.
  • Ability to undertake teaching and research in Translation and Interpretation, particularly in the areas of legal translation, translation theories and methodologies, and simultaneous interpretation. 
  • Expertise and experience in the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as well as supervision at postgraduate level.
  • A record of research publications appropriate to the level of the appointment.
  • Commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarly activities, and professional service.
  • Commitment to departmental services.
